I am inspired by nature that surrounds me, but I also travel to astonishing places one must see to believe. All I need to be creative is a sunset, sunrise or stars. When I travel, I’m a photographer capturing the unique landscape scenes I visit. When I return home to my studio, I turn to oil painting to capture my memories of nature and the outdoors.
I was born and raised in Seattle, WA and now I reside in North Bend. I have been painting for over 30 years and have a BFA with honors from Cornish College of the Arts. I am influenced by the landscape work of Georgia O’Keefe, as well as the surrealist artists, René Magritte, and Salvador Dali.
I show my work regularly and am a collective member of the Art Gallery of SnoValley. I am also a member of the Mt. Si Artist Guild. You can find me teaching solvent-free oil painting classes at the North Bend Art and Industry. Passionately, I am the creator, curator, and steward of the Free Little Art Gallery in North Bend, WA.
